I met Sarah (Comrade) as we called her our freshman year at Baylor University when she lived down the hall at Ruth Collins dorm. We immediately became good friends, and she was a suite mate to my roommate, Carolyn, and me for the next three years until graduation. What a great time we all had together! I have so many happy memories of Sarah with her energetic personality and friendliness. She will be missed by so many. Skip, and to all the family, you have our deepest sympathy. She truly was a life well-lived. We all find comfort that she is now with Jesus, her Lord and Savior. God bless you.

Sarah was a suitemate to my roommate and me at Baylor University in the 60’s, I cherish memories of her and her wonderful Arkansas family who let me go home with Sarah during holidays when it was too far for me to travel by bus to Alabama. Sarah and I had a love of music in common. We shared the excitement of planning for June 13 weddings, hers in Arkansas and mine in Alabama. My roommate, Becky and I dearly loved sweet Sarah. Heartfelt prayers for John, her children, grandchildren and siblings. Thinking of Sarah when I hear “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”. She is there.
