Obituary

Arthur L. Paine III was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on August 31, 1945 to Arthur Leigh Paine II and Bula Paine. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 21, 2021.

Art was a kind and loving husband and father, who was a perfect example to his family and friends on how to treat people with respect. He loved life, and helping others.
Individuals in his neighborhood often referred to Art as the Mayor of Mahogany Ridge Drive.

Arthur was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, and was passionate about baseball, football (Dallas Cowboys), music, and dancing, Upon graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force, where he served three years in Vietnam as a crew chief for a famous Air Force aviator. Upon returning from the war he began his sales career in Aviation. He worked for Cessna Citation and later Cooper Airamotive. He also managed the Latin American turbine engine sales program, for Aviall during his aviation sales career.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing in his back yard, while taking the opportunity to teach children his neighborhood how to fish. He and his wife were active in their church and helping others.

Art is survived by his loving wife Suzanne, and his two children and their spouses, Torri and Gary Matherne, Adam and Lynna Paine, Shanna Clark, his Aunt Nancy Lehmann and six grandchildren.

I met Art in 1978 when we became neighbors. He lived across the street in a house that was a mirror image of mine
I will never forget all of our hunting trips and the meals he would rustle up
Art and I and Duck Flottman were all born in the summer of 1945 so we liked to selebrste our birthdays together. The bigger one being our 40th when our wives sent over some birthday celebration girls!!!!!
I will miss a truly kink friend
