Yesterday, I attended the graveside service for W. D. I did not know him well, but have "known" him all my life as he is family to my family and a long-time friend to one of my friends. I wanted to be there to support them. His brother Don spoke a few words and then asked if anyone else would like to share. Thank you to those who did so. Someone suggested that one of W. D.'s granddaughters had written something that she could read, so the young lady began sharing her composition. I was enthralled with her writing style and the content as well. I believe I will not be alone in saying that I would very much appreciate it if she could please post it here for us to read in its entirety. Thank you.
My prayers and condolences to all the Farris Family.

As a Usher at Fielder Church I use to walk with Bill to put the offering in the vault. It wasn't a long walk, but I felt his warmth and caring for me as a person. We shared stories and laughed and Bill, you are going to be missed! Steve Raby
