Dearest Bonnie,

So sorry to hear of Gil’s passing. Thank you for letting us know.

Losing Gil is a great loss for you, us, and the many others whose lives Gil touched through the years. Gil didn’t return our last call and we regret not following up. Gil was an especially GOOD man, we feel richer for knowing him, and will carry fond memories forever. We met your family and friends, shared holiday meals, and had fun times together. We feel part of the family.

Gil had this ability to see both sides of a conversation and not take offense if our opinion differed from his. Rather he would ask questions to try to understand why we believed what we did, as we would ask him questions about why he believed as he did. ALWAYS talking about our diverging beliefs was calm, both sharing 50/50, and always parting ways with light hearts and a better understanding of whatever the topic might be.

Gil was blessed to have you as his life-partner, Bonnie - loving and supporting and balancing him through thick and thin. And you, Bonnie, are blessed as well to have had this chapter with Gil and the many adventures you both shared. You both have fabulous times to look back upon.

Now another chapter is beginning and we wish you all the strength, love, joy, sweetness, caring as you go forward.

Sending bushels of love to two very special people we are honored to know.
