Jo had a special place in the hearts of many. She will always have one in mine. Just now, I am hearing her laughter! Such a wonderful memory.
In her 35 years there, she was an integral part in creating the professional quality, as well as the sense of family, that were hallmarks of the Arlington Clinic.
Jo never ran out of love for folks. Her warm embrace will always be felt. Rest well, sweet friend.

I love Jo Dodson. As a kid when I went to the clinic, as a college student when I worked in the front office and always hoped my morning break coincided with Jo's, as a mom taking my babies to see my dad, seeing Jo was always a good thing. An enduring memory: My 8 lb 9 oz baby boy gained 4 pounds by his first month checkup and grew a measly 1/2 inch. I had visions of him jiggling his way to first base in his Little League ballgames. I said, "Jo, he has to be longer than that." So between the two of us we stretched that baby as long as we could. Well, he ended up at 6'2" and didn't jiggle on the field. But that first well check Jo did everything she could to calm my anxieties. I will never forget that visit, and I can see it now in my mind's eye. I loved everyone at the clinic from Donna in the front to Ruby in the back and all in-between. God bless all who loved Jo Dodson. I am one of you.
