To the family of Jon. I did not know him very well, we were students together at Texas A&M, Central Texas. What I remember of Jon was his positive attitude, his love for his family and encouraging words. He was always the first to submit his assignments and add humor and positivity to his discussion. The last time we communicate he was encouraging me to stay in school and finish what I started. He always believe in taking the lead and in his own words “keep the place form burning down to the ground". We will miss him in in class and our deepest condolences goes out to you the family and friends of Jon. You will be in my prayers, rest well Jon.

The best memory I have of my uncle Jon is from about 12 yrs. ago... I was living in Watauga TX. with my grandmother. I had gotten into a bad spot and decided to head back up to Virginia, so he helped out by getting me a Greyhound bus ticket. Being the jokester that he was, he set the password for me to be able to access it at the station to Isuck. I'm goin' to miss you Uncle Jon, may you rest well upstairs and may we meet again down the road.
