Lura Mozelle Brack Wildman, 80, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born to parents, C.H. Brack and Lura Mozelle Haws Brack, on March 16, 1940 in San Benito, Texas.

She graduated from Henrietta King High School, Kingsville, Texas in 1958.

Lura met Fred D. Wildman in 1960, while he was training in the Navy Cadet program. Their story was a true officer and a gentleman story. He received his wings on Friday, April 21, 1961 and they were married the next day, April 22, 1961. She loved him and they shared a loving relationship for 59 years and 8 months. Together they raised 3 daughters, Cathy, Connie, and Stacey.

She enjoyed being a mom, loved to cook and sew and mostly loved being a granny to all.
Granny Lura enjoyed being a mom and grandmother and was a stranger to no one. She spent endless days cooking, sewing and showering love on the many people that she came into contact with. She was an avid mall walker, singer in the church choir, and active member in her church. She was an avid reader and studier of the Bible. Her favorite time of year was Christmas especially spending time in her kitchen with all of her grandchildren, baking Christmas cookies, complete with icing.

Lura is proceeded in death by her parents, C.H and Mozelle Brack, her brother, Joe Bob Brack, as well as her sister, Jenn Ada Hemmle.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Wildman, daughters, Cathy Van Zandt and husband David, Connie Barron and husband Allen, and Stacey Witherspoon and husband Billy. She is also survived by her many grandkids, Caleb Van Zandt, Aaron Van Zandt, Nathaniel Van Zandt, Jacob Van Zandt, Sean Barron and wife Becky, Chris Barron and wife Grace, Jesse and wife Nicole, Madison Witherspoon Bradley and husband Alex, Spencer Witherspoon, Rylee Jayne Witherspoon, and Chelsie Witherspoon and her first great-grandbaby, Emersyn Rose Barron. She will be missed by a multitude of friends.

Although she will be missed, there is hope in knowing that because of her relationship with Jesus we will see her again, someday in heaven.

Cathy, I am deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered. My condolences. There is nothing like a mother's love and being with her as she takes her last breath. Despite the loss of the physical presence of your mother, I know that God has assigned her to watch over you throughout your life. Please know your NC family is always here for you. LL
