Marsha Ann Wood, 66, of Arlington, Texas went to be with Jesus, February 13th, 2021.

Marsha was born July 25th, 1954 in Portland Oregon, to Kenneth and Irma Lien. She had one older sister, Joy, and younger twin sisters Sharon and Karen. She shared a wonderful childhood with her sisters and had so many great memories.

Marsha graduated from Beaverton High School in 1972 and carried forward lifelong friendships from those years. From high school she was recruited to begin her career at Century Data. During these years she enjoyed business trips and meeting new people.

Marsha and Tom married August 28th, 1982 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Beaverton, Oregon. They moved to Texas to start their new family and grow their company, Business Marketing Source. The following year Marsha and Tom welcomed daughter, Michelle. The years were busy balancing work and family. In 2010, Tom and Marsha sold their business. Marsha went on to work at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Fort Worth as the office manager, and was also an active member.

Marsha loved to travel and took many trips to the Pacific Northwest to visit family, and she especially enjoyed having a pilot as a son to travel more often. Marsha was faithful in her relationship with God. She enjoyed Bible Study Fellowship and was able to participate with her daughter the last couple of years. Marsha served on the Board of Lutheran Hymn Festival, with husband Tom and they shared a love for music and concerts. She enjoyed her Lifecare group and many other close friendships. Marsha will be remembered for her work ethic, her joy in the Lord, and the way she invested in her family.

It is Well with my Soul.

Marsha is survived by her children, Matthew and Michelle (James), and her grandchildren, Witten Kate and Bryson Thomas, and sisters Joy and Sharon. She was predeceased by her husband Tom, parents (Ken and Irma), and sister Karen.

Memorial donations in Marsha’s memory can be made to St Paul Lutheran Church, Ft. Worth, Memorial Fund.
