Obituary

Ron Suggs went to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon August 31st, 2020.
Ron was born on June 14th, 1955 in Fort Worth, TX to Percy (Pete) and Charlie Suggs. Ron attended Boswell High School in Saginaw, TX and then Tarrant County College.

Ron worked in the grocery management industry for many years before going to work in the aircraft industry. He was a dedicated employee at Bell Helicopter Textron for the past 27 years. Whatever the task put before him he would put 100% effort into it at work, home and play.

Ron was a very generous, honest man with such a fun loving personality who quietly served others and loved his Lord and Savior. He truly loved his entire family and enjoyed going to his 10 grandchildren’s many baseball and football games, recitals and plays. Ron loved spending time with his family, playing with the grandkids and his beloved dog, Sadie.

Ron and Jan have felt truly blessed to be with their church family at Fielder Church- South Oaks Campus in Arlington, TX since 2015.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman Suggs. Ron is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Jan Suggs; daughter Josie Etter and husband Daryl. Son, Robert Suggs and wife Alissa; daughter Stephanie Hight and husband Dustin; son, Kevin Rudd; daughter Kelli Rudd. Ron’s 10 grandchildren include: Hayley, Hayden and Hunter Etter; Landon, Ainsley and Hadley Suggs; Anneliese and Lucas Hight; Harlin Rudd; Ethan Wood; Sister-in-laws; Carolyn Williams and husband John David and Nancy Suggs and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
